Pingrup Races

Join Pingrup for their annual race meeting!

There will be Fashions on the Field, live music from “The Numbats”, two-up and kids entertainment.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate, with kids being free.

Free camping is also available at the hockey oval, so why not making a weekend trip!

Pingrup Racecourse is located 350km southeast of Perth. Located in the great southern region, races have been happening in Pingrup since 1932.  

The first meeting was held as a picnic meeting on a racecourse in a farmer’s paddock. In 1950, the races moved to their current location at the Pingrup Recreation Grounds. Besides from racing, the grounds have a rich running history, hosting the state’s 440 yard running championships in the 1960s.  

Nowadays, Pingrup holds an annual meeting in March each year and has been doing so since 1932. The day consists of six races as well as wine tasting, Fashions on the Field, entertainment throughout the day, two-up in the evening and live music at night.
