Bunbury Racecourse is situated in Bunbury, a beautiful city situated only two hours south of Perth. Bunbury itself has a rich history of over 150 years and is located close to wineries in the Ferguson Valley, apple orchards in Donnybrook and the popular down south holiday location, Busselton.  

The Bunbury Turf Club is one of Western Australia’s leading provincial race clubs. Its season runs from November to April, climaxing with its autumn racing carnival, including the Bunbury Cup in March, Bunbury’s biggest social event. It is also home to other popular Sunday race meetings featuring live music and free entry and entertainment for children.  

In 2021, Bunbury Racecourse began its redevelopment to include new tracks and horse stalls as well as better track drainage. During this season, its races were run at Belmont Park.
