Dongara Cup

Racing in Dongara is all about the community, and there is no shortage of entertainment upon arriving on course. This race day in March is a family friendly event with plenty of activities for the kids. For racegoers, there is live entertainment, VIP marquee experiences, and Fashions on the Field for women and men. One of the main attractions in the later part of the day is a ‘Wheelie Bin Relay Race’ which is a hit among the locals.

About Dongara Irwin Race Club

Dongara Racecourse is located 350km north of Perth, with it being a four-hour scenic drive along the Indian Ocean.

This racecourse is run by the Dongara Irwin Race Club. It hosts an annual meeting each year on Easter Saturday and attracts holidaymakers each year. It is a fun-filled, family affair, with the day featuring the TABtouch Sprint and Iron Jack Dongara Cup. There are also off the track festivities which include Fashions on the Field and live entertainment.
